Successful completion of TEDRA Group’s road safety driver training

TEDRA in collaboration with the Institute of Road Safety (I.O.A.S.) “Panos Mylonas”, organized and carried out the training program “AVENUE for Traffic Safety” for the TEDRA ‘s drivers. The training took place in September, at the production unit of TEDRA “FERTECH PRODUCTION” in Platy, Imathia.

The aim of the training was to make drivers aware of road safety to reduce/eliminate and avoid road accidents. Through theoretical and experiential training, the drivers were informed about the risks they face, the ways to improve their ability to adapt to the current conditions, the ways to reduce traffic incidents, and the conditions and effects of accidents.

Using a driving training simulator, a car rollover simulator, a seatbelt crash simulator, and interactive activities such as a distraction activity and the use of drunkenness goggles, drivers experienced adverse conditions aimed at enhancing perception and alertness, as well as highlighting ways to deal with these incidents under real conditions.

Since 2018, TEDRA has been accredited with the international standard ISO 39001:2012 “Road Safety Management System” ensuring the continuous awareness and training of its staff.
